Type DsC(R) FGD pump is a single-stage, single-suction, horizontal, centrifugal pump. It is mainly used as the circulating pump for the absorbent tower in FGD applications. It has such features: wide range capacity, high efficiency, etc . This series of pumps with a compact structure can save much space. Meanwhile, our company develops many kinds of materials targeted at the pump for FGD.

Features

Wetted parts of the pump adopt an advanced hydraulic model.lt is optimised by CFD flow simulation analysis technology for design reliability and high running efficiency.
Adjusting the bearing assembly can change the impeller position in the volute, which can keep the pump unit in a state of high-efficiency operation.
The pump is a back-pullout construction, it has easy construction and simplifies maintenance. It can be disassembled without dismantling the suction & discharge pipes.
Double-row taper roller bearings are fitted on the pump end, and roller bearings are fitted on the drive end. Bearings are
lubricated by oil, which can modify bearing working conditions and increase the wear life of bearings.
A special cartridge mechanical seal is used for the FGD process with reliable operation.

Material Adopted
Our company developed a special kind of new material, duplex phase stainless white iron on the FGD device. The material has anti-corrosive properties of duplex stainless steel and anti-abrasive properties of high chrome white iron, so that it has remarkable anti-abrasive and anti-corrosive properties in the FGD process.
Pump casing, pump cover, and joint plate are bearing pressure parts that are made of ductile iron.
Rubber-lined pump: Impeller, cover plate, and liner insert are made of duplex phase stainless white iron. Front liner, back liner, frame plate liner insert material is natural rubber, which has good anti-corrosive property with lightweight, low cost.
Metal-lined pump: impeller, volute liner, cover plate liner insert, frame plate liner insert are made of duplex stainless steel. The suction cover is made of ductile iron with rubber stuck.
